WVU: Death and Departure First of all let me apologize for the
lack of updates on the site. Sometimes I just get fed up with foolin' with dead horses. Anyway, time to re-hash. December 16th Let us reminisce (cue the harp and blurry vision): Two years ago, this day, I get a phone call from my sister. "Scott, the nurse
says we should call any family members who would want to be here and have a long way to travel." Keep in mind I had moved
about five hours away from my native Lincoln County, WV, to the beautiful Eastern Panhandle of WV. "She said mom's not gonna make it." As I scurried to throw
some clothes in a bag, call my fiancé', get the dogs ready and fight off tears, I remembered that I was going to
telephone my mother the night before—just to say hello—but I got busy and forgot. My mom and
I kept in touch on a regular basis, but this time I felt I should call her for some reason. The drive to Charleston was quite tense. Tears were shed and thoughts were
raced. As I stepped out of the elevator onto the
floor of the hospital, I saw approximately twenty-five family members—most of whom are members of the Church of Christ
in Alum Creek, WV—where my mother worshiped and where I worshiped before my move. What a feeling to see so many folks who care enough to be so supportive.
Keeping in mind, my mother was loved by all of these folks as well. Needless to say, they were hurting
too. I sat down in the waiting room chair, not really knowing
what to do or say. Someone spoke up and told me I should go into my mother’s room. So I did.
Watching my mom lie there gasping for air—through a ventilator—was one of the hardest things I have ever
done. The whole time I was just hoping that her eyes would open, she would smile and I could tell her I
love her. The machine was turned off and I—along
with my two sisters and a few other folks—watched as my mom took her last breath. I held her hand
the whole time. It was a terrible feeling. You see, my mom was only 57 years old and
died of a stroke. FAST FORWARD
one year: I'm surfing the web on my blackberry
and see a "Breaking News" icon, "Rodriguez Headed to Michigan". My heart dropped.
I could not believe it. He had done so much for WVU, he couldn't leave. I recalled the scare I had gotten when we just about lost Coach Rod to Alabama.
Therefore, I refused to believe the news. I searched the web, tuned my radio to WV Metro News and
hurried to wvmetronews.com. The news seemed to be true this time.
There was no hoping, wishing, dreaming or turning back. It was true, Coach Rod was gone. What do we do now? Who is going to coach the Fiesta
Bowl? Can Coach Stew step up to the plate and get it done? Who will be the next Head Coach of the Mountaineers?
I miss you Rod!!!! Let's be honest. Few people liked Coach
Rod when he took over the football program for West Virginia. However, after a year or so we snuggled up
to him and let him lead us into a new era of Mountaineer Football. It
took me a long time to get used to Coach Rod, but I began to enjoy his coaching and the atmosphere he brought along with it.
He is a great coach and we have him. Until, the
anniversary of my mother's death. A large and
ugly battle would then ensue. Many people would do and say many things that they should not have. Folks
would be dragged into the fiasco that should not have been. Lies would be told. Feelings
would be hurt. However, life would go on in Morgantown,
WV and the Mountaineer Faithful would see to it that the football program would be just as important as it always had been. Present day (ok play the harp and do the blurry picture) My mother was a very faithful Christian while on this earth.
She is now with God—because of her dedication and commitment. Her life goes on.
Each day of my life, I strive to live in
a way that will allow me to spend eternity with my mother. I
say with a great deal of confidence that Coach Rod wishes he would have handled things a little better and not caused such
a ruckus. He is a great coach; I wish him all the best. However, He could have chosen a different day to smash the hearts of so many Mountaineers. Let’s GOOOOOOO Mountaineeeeeers… LIFE GOES ON

Rod's Agent Bet on College and Pro Sports? Pitt??? Makes Ya WonderIn the never ending saga of uselessness, it is now known that Coach Rod's agent, Mike Brown has ties
to sports gambling. It seems that maybe Rod is controlled more by his agent than his "love" of football and/or
money. In the past I have defended Rod against the accusations that he threw the Pitt game. However, if one would
think hard and long enough, some pieces just might fit that (sudoku) puzzle. Brown has admitted to "shopping
around" for Coach Rod. He was continually trying to find him another job. Brown has
also admitted to having ties to pro and college betting. Ya think that Brown's control over Rod had anything to
do with the loss to Pitt in the Backyard Brawl? I really hate to insinuate this heinous act, but in all actuality, it
could be the truth. I really do not believe Coach Rod would throw a game. On the other hand,
if he is trying stay in the pocket of a corrupt agent, he just may have to "not try as hard" Does that make
sense? Brown tells Rod to throw the game, then bets against WVU.
You can view the story and deposition of
Mike Brown in the headlines section of www.thankscoachrod.com. Though I hope the former coach of Coach Bill Stewart's Fiesta Bowl Champs would not stoop
so low, after the latest news, I am forced to reevaluate the facts and my opinions before I conclude on the matter. No
matter what, Michigan fans better get ready for a bumpy season. A season in which the head coach's
mind is far from Ann Arbor.

Watch out U-M! Penn State could be calling (Rich)...First of all, let me say this is the furthest thing from an anti JoePa article and a little closer to an anti-Coach
Rod article. (GO FIGURE) Unfortunately, Joe Paterno, the head football coach of THE Penn State University is not
getting any younger. As you may well know, there have been opinions spanning the last three or four years
that have cultivated many rumors of the future of Coach Paterno. However, when the rumors and opinions begin
to erupt, so does the continuing legacy of the best coach in the NCAA. When it seems the decision to get rid of Paterno
is threatening, he always ends up taking care of business on the gridiron (that means football field for you soccer fans) thus,
quieting his critics for yet another season. Many rush to blame JoePa for the off-field antics, in which
some PSU players have recently chosen to partake. Nevertheless, the parents of these overly rambunctious teens
are still never mentioned as being contributors to such erratic behavior. "It's the coach's fault
these boys get into trouble, we all know their parents raised them so very well." That's just preposterous! Parents
need to teach their children to act respectfully, especially when they are getting a free education. Although, when
a player decides to make a mockery of himself and his team, it is the responsibility of the coach to take a stand. At this
point, the coach cannot allow a player to assume he can do what he wants, when he wants, for the simple fact that he's
a great football player. JoePa knows how to discipline. Just ask Austin Scott. Not only was JoePa's
disciplinary action the best move for the football program but, the best for the young Mr. Scott as well. Take
former WVU players, Chris Henry and Adam 'Pacman' Jones for instance. Both had trouble on and off the field
while playing for Coach Rod. Coach Rod chose not to discipline them in the proper
way. Look at where they are now. Nothing but trouble in the NFL.
OK, so the fact is JoePa is getting
older. Some of the trustees for PSU sports would probably not beg him to stay if he hinted he wanted to leave. Furthermore,
JoePa will never be forced to leave the program that he built into what it is today.
Now for the Wolverines.
Keep in mind that the No. 1 reason that Coach Rod gave when asked why he left WVU to go to Michigan was "it's
Michigan". Of course he was speaking of the great football program and the history of the school. He has
a good point but c'mon, everybody knows that Penn State is the dream job for any football coach.
So,
watch out U-M. I imagine a statement something like this in the near future: "I left Michigan, No. 1, because
it's Penn State and No. 2, my son has already committed to the Nittany Lions class of 2010. Oh yeah, and it's a lot
closer to home..."

Your Turn To TalkI never really thought that www.thankscoachrod.com would ever get as many visitors as it has thus far. I want to thank all of you who have taken the time
to stop by and think the site is good enough to visit again. Over the last 2 months I have given you my opinions of
Coach Rod and the WVU athletic Dept. Some good comments and some bad. I suppose it depends on what side you are
on.
I have not made any money from the website. I have not asked for any money nor have I been offered any.
This is a site for you and I to use for fun. I have even put links to other for-profit sites just to help keep you informed.
These other sites have done nothing for me. Why even WVMETRONEWS.com stopped posting my comments on their site.
Of course as a former employee of their parent company, I know some of the folks who are in control therefore, it doesn't
surprise me.
Anyway, I would like to open the site up to you a little more. I have always had a place where
you could leave your comments and leave feedback. What I want to do now is post your thoughts to my blog. If you
wish, send me your thoughts in an email and I will post them. Wvdj105@aol.com is the email address.
You never know. You may end up with a job at Sports Illustrated. Ha!
Thankscoachrod.com is getting more and more hits. Especially from www.bleachrreport.com. So come on! Give it a shot. Let's see what you can say to enlighten readers.

Another Plea to Coach Rod and those who try to make things better by hurting innocence.Having just watched the ESPN video (viewable from the thankscoachrod.com home page) and seeing Coach Rod with tears in his eyes, I must say it hurt just a little. Even though he did what he did
to us, it is still hard to see a fellow West Virginian in turmoil. I must repeat myself, stop messing with Coach Rod's
family. That is just stupid. You can read about that below, in my Blog post from January 8, 2008, if you wish.
C'mon be a Mountaineer.
Having said that, none of the law enforcement agencies in Coach Rod's home
county took a report made by any of the family claiming threats or any similar actions. Some of the things that have
reportedly been happening since the "great escape" (how CR seems to perceive it) are things that the authorities
probably should have known about. So are they true? Who knows? All I can say is, if you are partaking in
any of these actions, STOP.
OK then... I now must re-post a Blog entry from the first of the month.
It is a call to action addressed to Coach Rod. Just remind us that you DO care Coach...
Just make peace with the fans Coach Rod (originally posted 2/1/08)
In the ever evolving conflict surrounding the departure of Coach Rod, I would like to make one simple request.
Although I feel that the fault of this college football mockery does not lie solely with Coach Rod, I feel he should
address the fans and tell us what he thinks we need to hear. So, here goes. Coach Rod, in most of my blog entries
I would put a line though the title of Coach in front of your name to help illustrate my frustration. However, this
one time I am pleading to you for some sort of resolution with the Mountaineer Faithful so, I will submit to the demeaning
gesture this once.
Coach Rod, issue a statement, give an interview, write a letter to the editor of every
newspaper in WV or whatever you feel would help the Mountaineer fans to oscillate once again. Coach Rod, we are tired
of hearing all of the stories from the news sources. We are WAY tired of hearing from your agent, Mike Brown.
Can we please hear from you. I think if we ALL were honest we can accept the fact that the administration didn't
help much but, you chose to leave over things that could have been overlooked for the sake of the respect you had gained.
Your giving up and leaving surely was not indicative of all of your pep talks to the team and to the fans.
If I can be be honest, I may have to think about but, (Not that anyone would actually give you the chance) I might
even accept you back someday to coach. Although, it would come down to your tact and honesty to the fans and the State
of West Virginia, now.
I can understand your not wanting to say much during recruiting and your first days
at a new school but, once you sign Pryor AND actually sign the contract at Michigan and before it's too late, will you
please consider imploring to the fans your true feelings. I know you are sorry for some of the things that have happened.
Be the leader that you are and just let it out. You were once WV's favorite son. Now a mere prodigal.
One of these days you may "come to yourself" and want to come home. Will you be accepted? What you do
now will ultimately have an effect on what happens on that day. Coach Rod, congratulations on the new job.
I am always happy to see someone from West Virginia do well in life. Face it, this state doesn't get a lot of recognition
for good things. Most of it could go away if you just let your feelings show one more time. Whadda' ya say
Coach? How 'bout them 'Eers... (END)
OK back to now.... Coach
Rod, you have had several opportunities to do this. When will it happen? That is the latest question to you Sir.

No news is good news???Fortunately for those who are fed up with the whole controversy, there has been nothing much to write about. Unfortunately,
those who like to see the continuous bashing of Coach Rod are getting bored. We could always discuss
recruiting but, that's old news and it's getting older. I could talk about the fact that Coach
Rod really racked up on his recruiting though, he has yet to sign # 1 prospect, Terrelle Pryor. I could talk about the
fact that Mr. Pryor may not even go to a Big Ten School and may end up in Oregon. I could talk about the slim chance
of Pryor choosing WVU. I could talk about the fact that Coach Stew didn't do too bad himself in the recruiting.
Pat White's little bro' Coley looks to be the next QB at WVU, providing Coach Stew does not use him elsewhere.
I never doubted but, the top pick Josh Jenkins also added himself to the Mountaineer team among several other 2, 3 and 4
star recruits including Terrance Kerns and J.J. Dorsey. However, I don't want to talk about recruiting. We
could discuss great staff that Coach Stew has put together but, that goes without saying. We could talk about the loss
of 3 great WVU players who were cut from the team for getting arrested for drugs and how Coach Stew will not accept stupid.
BUT, there again, needs no discussion. I guess I will just re-iterate my disgust with Coach Rod. You did
us wrong. You left on selfish motive. Money or not. Administration or not. You did not have to leave.
You say they forced you out. NOPE! You let what they were doing effect your ego and you made the decision to leave.
Thanks again Coach Rod for "a very long time". Hope your son decides against U-M in the class
of 2017 or whatever it is you said at WVU and U-M. Blaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh, Yadaaaaaaaaaa...

Coach Rod needs a Geo Graphy lesinSounds a lot like a story you might hear about on the latest episode of "48 Hours Investigates".
A man and his wife are on the run. Everyone is looking for them with the intent of making them
pay for what they had done. Perhaps they will be hanged in the town square. Maybe they will be stoned to death.
Or it could be way rougher than that. Something like a $4 million buyout with no loss of life. In hopes to protect the innocent I will change the names in this story. As a law enforcement officer by day, I see
many driver's licenses. Some from WV, MD, PA, OR and an occasional Michigan driver's license. Often times
however, I run across one in which the information is falsified, causing the license to be invalid. Ok, to the
point. Coach Rod and Rita Rod are trying to keep their case in federal court, claiming they
were residents of the state of Michigan when it the lawsuit was filed. Their lawyer is stating that they
were getting driver's licences and switching their voter rights to the state of Michigan on the day that
the lawsuit was filed (Dec 27th 2007). Not to mention the fact that they signed a lease on a townhouse on December
26th. Let me put it this way. There is NO WAY that the Rods were able to get all of this accomplished in the time
they had. If there are driver's licenses that were obtained BEFORE the lawsuit was filed then they are invalid.
Perhaps they were obtained the same day but, after the lawsuit was filed. As do many states, I am sure the state of
Michigan allows one to register to vote when at the DMV for licensing purposes. If one were to know where Coach
Rod spent Christmas they would know the improbability of these things taking place before the lawsuit was filed. In conclusion, his kids were still in school in WV, all of his things were still in WV. Of course his "intentions"
were to move his residency to Michigan but, it wasn't fast enough. Face it, Coach Rod, you were
just a too slow for WVU. Which should make you feel stupid, seeing as you were going against Garrison. Ok,
This entry may make no sense but, i think you get the picture. If the Case stays in Federal Court then, the judge needs
to go to Michigan too....

Slow Goin' Not really much going on right now. So, I don't have much to blog about. However, have you ever
noticed how the media such as ESPN.com seem to talk about how we should all just let this whole thing go? But yet they
keep writing stories. I think Mike Brown (CR's agent) is "behind" the all of it. Well it won't
be long until the verdict is out on the big "buyout" case. So, we will have some discussing to do then...

Is $4 million fair or not Coach Rod. Make up your mind. OK! Make a decision. You are crying around about the fact that Garrison "reneged" on the fact
that he thought the $4 million buyout was too much. However, your buyout is $4 million at Michigan. I gotta
tell ya Coach Rod, your story isn't making much sense. Just seems to me that you need something
to use to try to get the upper hand. I think you need to stop listening to your agent and face the facts. You
did WVU wrong. Stop making excuses. Unfortunately, $4million is what you PROMISED to pay. But of course
you also promised to stay at WVU for a long time. Just pay it. Fire your agent and use the money you would've
paid him. What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind when you depart this life, Coach Rod?
Think about it...

Get a real job Mike Brown Coach Rod's agent, Mike Brown seems to be the biggest problem in all of this. Everytime you
read the latest in the saga, his name is there. Just take a look at the emails that were sent back and forth before
all of this started. Some of those emails can be read in the "Headlines" section of thankscoachrod.com. It
is now my belief that Mike Brown was the deciding factor in the resignation of Coach Rod. Looooooooooooser!

Jerry Maguire and a Bunch of other IdiotsI gotta tell ya. This is all getting out of hand. I am tired of hearing from all of these outsiders. Ken
Kendrick or whatever his name is, constantly has something to say. Listen Ken, no one knows who you are nor cares who
you are. So take your money and your mouth and forget about WVU. You have said some ignorant things about Coach
Stewart that just don't seem right for a "smart business man" like yourself to make. Go worry about your
little baseball team. We don't want your money if it's gonna have to go along with you terrible attitude.
Mike Brown... you were also unknown before all of this. Who even knew Coach Rod had an agent?
I am guessing you will never have a decent client after you are done with your "smear campaign". Just
keep your mouth shut and stop trying to be Jerry Maguire. Dennis Dodd, How about getting quotes from the side of a REAL
Mountaineer. Tell your buddy Ivan Maisel that he needs to answer some emails. Both of you just think you are all
that CBSsportsline.com ever needed. Go cover some Lacrosse or something. We need real reporters on College
Football. I now must add Calvin Magee to the mix. Did you ever stop to think that the "informant"
who said you wouldn't get the job, just may be the one who won't let you sit in the
front of the bus on the way to the game? All of you are a bunch of Idiots.

WVU Racist in Hiring??? AND My Letter to ESPN's Ivan Maisel on racism at WVUSo, now Magee is turning on us. Former WVU offensive coordinator, Calvin Magee has decided to make it public that
he feels WVU didn't hire him as head coach because he is black. ABSURD... Calvin, The State of West Virginia thought
the world of you when you stuck around for the Fiesta Bowl. However, you just killed that pride. Thanks a lot.
How about NOT going with the exiting coach to his introductory press conference at the new school.
Then you may actually get to be a head coach some day. WVU is racist, that is why our star QB, RB, DL, DB's, receivers
and return men are black. Not to mention the coaches in the past and present that are black. The racial bias
accusations are stupid. Sounds like something Coach Rod would dream up. His roots do run
a little south of Texas. Below is my response to the ESPN article claiming that WVU is racistIvan, I am not sure of all of your sources. But, either way if anyone here is trying to cause
problems, it's you. Why publish an article that WVU did not hire Magee as head coach because he is black.
That is absurd. I believe they would have in a second if he was dedicated. Why would you hire someone who will
run out so easy. Calvin had already been seen with CoachRod in Michigan and expressed his intentions.
If he was told that an interview would do no good, that is the reason. I am tired of all this junk about racism.
I am not a racist but, it seems the "black" folks think they deserve everything. What would happen if there
was a "White Coaches Association"? There would be a war. Think about it IVAN. WVU had just had
a coach"run out" on them. Why take that chance again, with the interest that Magee had already
shown in Michigan. I must say I am very disappointed in Calvin's actions. However, his dedication lies
with Coach Rod. So, he will just follow suit. It seems by your column that you
would rather see WVU slandered than the facts come out. That is pretty typical for people whose predictions of bowl
games come back to slap them in the face. If anyone thinks that all of this is going to ruin WVU's reputation, it's
only after they read your "Internet only" worthy article. Scott
10:48 pm est
Friday, January 18, 2008
Coach Rod telling the truth? He's pretty convincing... Ok, so the article from the Michigan writer had a little more to it, that wasn't published in a manner
that made it readily accessible. So, take a look at the article in the News and Headlines section of the thankscoachrod.com
homepage and form your own opinion. Although, It may be a tough decision. If you are a die-hard Mountaineer,
you will side with Pastilong, Garrison and the WVU cronies. If you are a true West Virginian, you will side with CoachRod.
However, if you are both, you will have trouble figuring out whose side you're on. (Just blame it on a hanging
chad.) I consider myself a true West Virginian who is a die-hard Mountaineer fan. I refuse to believe
the things that the WVU administration is alleging. Though, Coach Rod seems to be a hot-head, I tend
to believe him a little more. I never have hated the guy. I know where Coach Rod spent Christmas
and I have spoken with a fellow who is from that same area, who actually spoke with Coach Rod during
the Holidays.
I get the impression that the "smear campaign" that has risen from the
smoldering ashes of the Mountaineer campfire that was smothered by the paw of a Panther, goes deeper
than what we as the public see. I have made an attempt to speak with Coach Rod about all of these
issues. I can only wait and see if the call is answered. I for one would love to see all of this just go
away. But, as we all know, this whistle will blow until the end of the 2008 football season. Right now I'm
on the fence. Either side can be blamed for bad decisions. The Governor of WV can be blamed for publicly
slamming CoachRod (a close and longtime friend). But, if you think about it, Gov. Joe Manchin
has much more in his "order" that could be aired in a similar way. Ya, didn't hear Coach
Rod talking about him. If I had my choice, I would trade Michigan, Joe Manchin for CoachRod
any day. Tony, it's still a great day to be a Mountaineer especially if you are a West Virginian...

Give Coach Rod a break. Unless he did it... OK, enough is enough. Ever since Coach Rod left WVU (in a terrible way) there has been story
after story attempting to discredit him as a human being and make him out to be some sort of satanistic, useless, Grinch type
loser. HMMM??! Anyway, we have got to stop this nonsense. He is gone and we need to concentrate on what we have
now, which is going to prove to be a lot better all around, than that of the Coach Rod regime. This
goes mainly for the WVU ADMINISTRATION. President Garrison, I really think you are behind most of this. Go back
to the law firm or helping Bob Wise cover up his adultery or whatever it is you kiddies do, leave WVU alone. SORRY 'BOUT
THAT BUT I HAD TO RELIEVE MYSELF. Continuing, I can't see why Coach Rod would destroy info and
files on players that was still needed. I really think, deep down Coach Rod kinda likes the players
at WVU so, why would he do that junk. C'mon West Virginia, stop making up stuff. If there is hard evidence
that he did this, we will know about it. But, until we can prove he did these things, let's leave him alone.
I mean we can still talk about the way he left and how bad it was and the everlasting legacy and eternal HEARTBURN he left
behind but, let's not accuse him of criminal misconduct just yet. Although, if the proof does come out and he did
actually destroy files that he should not have THEN we will slam him...

No one can catch-n-run like Reynaud Well I sure wish you would stay Darius. I hesitated to beg you to stay when I heard what you said about your family
and needing to support them. I like the attitude. However, If there is some way you can make it and
stay for one more year, it would be great. Very few people can catch and run like you. You light up the field
and you amaze us. We want you to beat that 4th place record you hold with Chris Henry for TD's in one season.
No one should want to be on the same page as him. He was good but, not disciplined. Do what you need to do Darius. However,
we will take ya back if you want....

Say it aint so Steve....Please Stay.... It may be too late for me to plead to Steve Slaton to return next season. I really thought he would decide to
stay. Here goes:
Steve, please come back. We need you. I understand you have to make choices
that best benefit you but, we want you to break more records, run more yards, get more touchdowns and we want you to do it
at WVU. You can take home the Heisman. Your smile and demeanor on and off the field only inspire us, the
fans to endure the tough times. Honestly, you could sit the bench all year and we would be happy just knowing you are
there. We could lose every game but, we would know that you gave your all. Don't settle for second round of
the draft. You are first round material. Give them one more year to see what you got. Go for the number
one pick. Steve, you are Mountaineer Football. You will be able to learn any offense you need to, if it should
happen to change. You are that good. Please, Please, Please, give it one more year. No matter what
choice you make, we will love ya. But, we just wanna love ya in blue and old gold.

At least fake it Coach Rod... When a reporter asked Coach Rod what he thought about the departure of Michigan's talented
QB, he replied with a simple "Don't Care". This attitude is what WVU had to deal with. Now, I understand
when folks are proud of being successful. Most people enjoy success. Coach Rod however, seems
to be thinking of himself only. Understand that along with success comes responsibility, especially when you are a public
figure. Many people who are successful have only themselves to thank i.e. Bill Gates, Donald Trump, etc... Buuuuut,
when your success depends on other people, you need to not only acknowledge it personally but, publicly as well. Coach
Rod doesn't do either very well. His attitude seems to be "I built it and no one else helped". Take
away the assistant coaches, take away the players, take away the fans and Coach Rod has nothing. So, Coach
Rod, how about at the least acting like you care about a young man whom you forced to make possibly the toughest decision
of his life, changing schools. Your "don't care" attitude is the true you. I thought we raised folks
better than that in WV. It's obvious you are not a true West Virginian. Of course, if you trace your WV roots,
they only go back a few years. I consider you a migrate worker anyway. Your coaching history (as well as other things
I will not NAME) says it all. Michigan fans, good luck. I think you will see the the true Rodriguez very
shortly. You will win some ballgames. However, I don't think you will be seeing any Big Ten trophies
anytime soon.....

The 'Doc'tor is in and the Dunlap syndrome hits Touchdown City Well, Coach Stu must have really done some talkin' to get Doc Holliday to leave Florida to come home. I'm
sure WVU will have a very large bill from the Doc for this "House Call". But it's AWESOME!!! Thanks Doc
for coming. I had no doubt that Steve Dunlap would come back to the flagship school of the state. There couldn't
be any better time for it to happen. Dunlap, Kirelawich and Casteel will take the WVU defense to new heights.
Holliday will recruit the players we need. Don't count out one of the country's highest rated high school players,
Josh Jenkins, just yet. I look for him to choose WVU with encouragement from the new staff. Ya never know, Terrelle
Pryor may change his mind as well. Either way Stewart has already obtained several commitments. It's a great
day year to be a Mountaineer!!!!!
